Centenary 2025 – 100 Years of Research Excellence

In this year, 2025, the Tea Research Institute of Sri Lanka celebrates 100 Years of Excellence. Since its inception, TRI proudly upholds generating and disseminating new technologies related to tea cultivation and processing. This historical year provides us with an extraordinary milestone to celebrate the glory of our achievements while reflecting on future directions in a rapidly changing landscape of global tea market. Many activities are lined up to celebrate the centenary year with the participation of growers, planters, researchers, other tea stakeholders, industry experts, students, staff, ex-staff, and the general public including global participation. As a major event of the celebration activities, TRI is planning to be held an International Symposium on Tea Research during the period.
