In 2006, “Chemical control of tea pests” was published.  Sinhala translation of the book “Tea for health” was published on the same year.

In 2002, “Cost of tea cultivation” and “Tea and Health” books were published.

In 1986 Hand Book on Tea was published covering all aspects of tea cultivation and processing.

Sri Lanka Journal of Tea Science

In 1984, the Tea Quarterly has been renamed as “Sri Lanka Journal of Tea Science” and volume no. XX of SLJTS has been published.

A Guide to the Tea Research Institute of Sri Lanka

The second book of the “A Guide to the Tea Research Institute of Sri Lanka” was published in 1982.

Tea Bulletin

In 1981, the first volume of “Tea Bulletin” was published in English.

TRI Monograph no.07

In 1978 Monograph no.07, “Facets of tea research in practice” was published.

Advisory Circulars

Advisory Circulars of the Institute was published from 1970s to as guideline to tea growers, tea processors.

TRI Monograph no. 06

In 1967, the institute was publishing its own publications including

•             Monographs on Tea production in Ceylon

The Monograph no. 06, “Insects and mite pests of tea in Ceylon and their control” has been published in 1967.

Institute has compiled all the research division work information and substation and its history into “A Guide to the Tea Research Institute of Ceylon” and published on the same year.

TRI Monograph no. 05

In 1964, the TRI Monograph no. 05, “A one day course in tea manufacture” was published.

TRI Monograph no. 04

In 1956, the TRI Monograph no. 04, “ Tea Manufacture in Ceylon” was published and was very well received by the industry.

TRI Monograph no. 03

The TRI Monograph no. 03, “The organization of tea research work in Ceylon” published in 1954.

TRI Monograph no. 02

In 1950, the TRI Monograph no. 02 “The commoner diseases of tea” was published.

TRI Monograph no. 01

In 1949 the TRI Monograph no. 01 “ The work of the Agricultural Chemistry Division” was published.

Tea Quarterly

First scientific publication was named as “Tea Quarterly” and published in 1928.

Volume I of the Tea Quarterly, the scientific journal of the TRI, was published in 1928. The aim of the journal were described by the Editor, Mr. T Petch as follows

“The Tea Quarterly, will aim at providing a summary of all the available information relating to the cultivation and manufacture of tea, and will thus endeavor to fill a gap which at present exists in the agricultural literature of the British Empire”

The Tea Quarterly completed its 25^th year of publication and the Planter’s Association of Ceylon celebrated its centenary in 1953.

TRISL Annual Reports

First publication of TRISL was the Annual Report published in 1925. It was named as “Tea Bulletin of TRI of Ceylon.
