Year 2017: the year of adoption of integrated measures to mitigate the threats of nematode infestations in low grown tea lands: Inaugural program on 8thJanuary 2017

The Tea Research Boards official declared the year 2017 as the “the year ofadoption of integrated measures to mitigate the threats of nematode infestations in low grown tea lands". The inaugural activity of the above program was held on the 8thJanuary 2017at the TRI Low country Research, Advisory & Extension centre, to educate the smallholders in low country region, on possible integrated measures to mitigate nematode the threats in their tea fields. The representatives of the smallholding development societies, school children, students of the agricultural schools, officers of the Advisory and Extension, Nematology, Plant Breeding, Agronomy and Technology divisions and the staff of St Joachim estate were actively participated for this activity.
